This year, jointly with the Kinderwerkplaats (Children’s Workplace) BK050, we have organized a splendid printing studio. We print on paper and on fabric, inspired by everything that grows and thrives in the Noorderplantsoen. You can use small and/or large presses to print a stamp or template pattern. When printing, you can repeat everything endlessly. We shall print our own designs on large pieces of textile, so that crazy patterns will be produced.

De Speelweide

This year once again, everybody of four years old and upward will discover fascinating things to do and see on the Speelweide (‘Playing Field’). We have built a gigantic castle of containers in which you can roam around and explore all kind of things. For example, you can make a simple film or see your favourite cuddly toy make a parachute jump. Or maybe you prefer something calmer? You can watch a film or take part in a special treasure hunt for strange birds. There is something for everyone!

All activities and performances on the Speelweide are paid in Kids Tokens. These tokens can be bought at Kleintje Kiosk (‘Small Kiosk’), which is also situated on the Speelweide. One token costs € 1.50, four cost € 5. The Speelweide is open every day from 14.00-20.00, with the exception of the first day (from 17.00 onward) and the last day (until 18.00). In the weekend we are open from 13.00 onward.
